The Father’s Heart was born out of a passion to see deep-rooted community, discipleship, and connection to Daddy God. Serving in various ministerial roles the last 15 years or so, we noticed a need for intimate relationship with the Father and others. Our eyes increasingly opened to God’s love and the reality that we are completely together in this life, we are Christ’s body unified, not separated.
We’ve seen so many broken in the world, and honestly, in the church. Church programs and once-a-week services can be wonderful, but often do not suffice to bring God’s healing and restorative power to the nations. Noticing this, we shifted from casual friendship to sharing life together and began to see amazing mending and renewal. Paul’s words hit us hard,
“For though you might have ten thousand guardians (or instructors/teachers) in Christ, you do not have many fathers. Indeed, in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.” – 1 Cor. 4:15
Paul experienced a closeness to the Corinthians other instructors or teachers simply did not. He wasn’t satisfied with merely teaching lessons and leaving them alone, instead, he laid down his life for them as a father for his children. This has become our heart.
Our desire is to reveal the Father’s true heart and nature by connecting others directly to Him. As we do this, through close relationship, we want people to receive revelation of God’s limitless worth and their tremendous value in His eyes. While revelation takes place we walk daily with these men and women and, as Jesus did, model what life in God practically looks like. Our ultimate goal is the same as our Father’s heart, lovingly releasing and empowering them in the use of their unique God-given gifts and talents to grow the Kingdom of God, reproduce and multiply.
